I have 3 weeks in vietnam in october travelling from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh
I guess I will go to the recommended places such as Hue, hoi An, Nha Trang (I definitely would like some relaxation/ beach time as I will have just come from touring China) etc... My question is, do I need to pre-book trains, and or buses.. What is the best method of getting from north to south in three weeks. ( i dont want to hire a motorbike), and do i need to pre book accomodation? At the moment i have just reserved a couple of nights at a hostel in hanoi for when i arrive in Vietnam.
thanks very much.

Hi,

You have 3 weeks in Viet Nam, it is great!

If you are beach lover, go to Phu Quoc Island (near Ho Chi Minh City).

For trains and bus, you don't need to book in advance. When you come to vietnam, you can handle it. There are many travel agents around.

The best method to travel in Vietnam is flying.

October is peak season in Vietnam. You should book all accommodations in advance.

Hope it helps!
