It is recommended, therefore, not to go hiking in rural areas, including areas around the archaeological complexes and temples. The area adjacent to the temple of Preah Vihear, in the homonymous province, near the border with Thailand. Here since July 2008 there have been explosions of mines and several armed clashes between Thai and Cambodian paramilitary forces, including allocated permanently, due to a boundary dispute recently recovered.
AREAS OF CARE We suggest that extreme caution throughout the country for visits to the capital, Phnom Penh, particularly at night, and the archaeological site of Angkor Wat, avoiding at the surrounding areas.

We also recommend to stay away from rallies, demonstrations and by the political gatherings. It is suggested to be wary of dubious proposals (easy business, No driving, alternative experiences, etc..).
Legislation planned for use and / or sale of drug convictions for drug offenses are strict with harsh prison conditions and difficult.
Legislation scheduled for sexual abuse or violence against children: sexual abuse of minors is considered a serious crime in Cambodia. The sentences are long term and should be discounted in Cambodian prisons. It should be remembered that those who commit crimes abroad against children (sexual abuse, exploitation, prostitution), are being prosecuted on their return based on the laws in force in our country.
Health situation
Health facilities are not comparable to the standards, it is recommended, therefore, to go to hospital only for children with medical problems or as support for the immediate repatriation of sick or air transfer to another country.
The absence of good health facilities, difficulties in the Return of emergency and the precarious health conditions lead not only to the most attention, but militate against the visit to all those who are not in optimal health.
We recommend having signed a travel insurance policy with adequate ceiling that covers the cost of treatment and those for a possible return by air of the patient or transfer to another country.
